Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CVCreater ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service description

CVCreater is an online CV builder that allows users to create, edit, and download professional CV PDFs. The Service is provided on a one-time payment basis — no subscription is required.

3. Payment

  • Payment is a one-time charge of €4.99 (CV Only) or €7.99 (CV + Job Pack), VAT included.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card data.
  • Access to the paid features begins immediately after successful payment.
  • All prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT.

4. Access & editing window

After purchase, you receive a magic link granting access to your CV editor for 30 days. You may download your CV PDF an unlimited number of times during this period. After 30 days, the editing window closes, though previously downloaded PDFs remain yours to keep.

5. Data deletion

All CV data and personal information are permanently deleted 60 days after creation, regardless of payment status. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

7. Intellectual property

The CV content you provide remains your property. CVCreater retains ownership of the service, templates, and generated designs. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use downloaded CV PDFs for job applications.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in job interviews or employment. ATS compatibility depends on the receiving employer's systems.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVCreater shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland, or through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
